Out of Surgery Visits


Our staff are involved with the local hospital to provide 24-hour medical service and advice and in-hospital treatment.


Nursing home visits are conducted on a needs basis.


Home visits are available for the frail & elderly patients when safe & medically appropriate. These are assessed by their regular doctor.

Appointments are generally 15 minutes.


Please let staff know if you require a longer appointment for a complex issue or if you have several issues to discuss with the doctor.


It is not always possible to see extra family members in the same appointment as yourself.


If you consider your condition to be an emergency, please convey the emergency to our staff.


As there is a high demand for appointments, please ring to cancel if you no longer require the appointment.

Arriving for Your Appointment


You can either use our Self Check-in Kiosk to save time or report to the Reception Desk on arrival. 


Please remember to bring your Medicare Card to every visit.




The total fee for your visit will depend on the service provided.


We have “EASYCLAIM” facilities available, which enables the Medicare rebate to be paid directly into your savings or cheque account in minutes.

Cost of medical consumables such as wound dressings and plasters will be now be invoiced to the patient direct and is unable to be claimed back via Medicare.

EFTPOS facilities are available.

Full payment of your account is requested on the day of your consult. 

Concession Holders & Bulk Billing

Concession cards are generally accepted.


Monday - Friday   8.30am - 5.45pm for standard consultations only.


Routine childhood vaccinations are bulk billed. (Some doctors do not bulk bill, so please check with reception staff.)


Bulk Billing is unable to be offered for all evening & Saturday clinics, procedures, antenatal visits, skin cancer checks, sutures, and plasters.

Ambulance Cover


The cost of any ambulance service is borne by the patient even if the attendance is at the surgery.


We strongly recommend you subscribe to SA Ambulance.


Forms are available at the front desk.  Payment is accepted at the local Post Office.  Or you can visit online: SA Ambulance Cover 

Returning Phone Calls 

There are times when your doctor may not be able to take your call.  This could be due to currently consulting with a patient or attending an emergency.


Our staff will forward your details and a message for them to return your call.

If you feel your call is urgent, one of our nurses may be able to assist you.

Test Results 

It is the policy of our practice to ensure that patients requiring results of tests are advised of these results via an appointment.  It is appreciated that you make your follow up appointment for these results when settling your account.

If your doctor is wanting to see you however one of our staff will contact you to arrange a suitable appointment time.

Please ensure you update your contact details at your next appointment.
