TREATMENT ROOM FEE
From 1 July, our consumables and procedure fees, separate to the consult fee, has been changed to a Treatment Fee with 4 Levels.
Level 1 = minor treatments,
Level 2 = intermediate treatment,
Level 3 = major treatment, and
Level 4 = surgical procedures.
All treatment provided in the treatment room will incur a treatment fee according to the treatment service provided.
Please check with your Doctor whether a fee applies to you.

Due to strict privacy laws, we require your written consent to disclose your medical information to another family member or person whether in person or by phone. If you would like another person to receive personal medical information on your behalf, please ask for a Consent form at reception.

Supporting and optimizing the health and safety of our community is our top priority. As from Monday 30th March all appointments will be made initially as a phone consultation. Meningococcal B Vaccine
From 1 October, Meningococcal B vaccinations are being offered at 6 weeks, 4 months and 12 months as part of the National Immunisation Program. All children under 4 years of age are eligible for the Meningococcal B vaccination as part of the National Immunisation Catch Up Program.
Paracetamol is recommended 30 minutes prior for all children under the age of 2 years receiving a Meningococcal B vaccine. However, please be assured that patients will not be turned away if paracetamol hasn’t been administered in advance of their vaccine.

We now supply the Bexsero Meningococcal B Vaccine for up to 50 years of age. The vaccine can be purchased on site. Simply ask reception when booking your appointment with your Doctor.

SMS APPOINTMENT & HEALTH RECALL REMINDERS
We send Appointment and Health Care Reminders for all scheduled appointments by SMS via HotDoc to better assist with keeping you and your family’s health care up to date.
Simply Book an appointment online via the Appointment Tab above or follow the prompts in your SMS reminder notice to activate your HotDoc online account. If you do not already have an SMS service in place with us, please either call us on 8398 2600 or mention to our reception staff when you next visit to opt in and have your SMS reminders activated.
Please ensure you have signed a SMS consent form located at the reception desk and/or inform us if this is not your preferred method of contact.
CERVICAL SCREENING TEST (Previously Pap Smears)
Pap Smears are no longer covered by Medicare for <25 year olds from 1.12.17. Tests with a normal result do not need repeating for 5 years (previously 2). For more information visit the Department of Health website at:
BULK BILLING CHILDREN Under 16 Years (excludes Saturdays)
Our Doctors are now Bulk Billing all children under 16 years on Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 6.00pm. Saturdays not included. Please Note, this service does not include Procedures eg. dressings, stitches and plasters. Dr Bourke will bulk bill children with a concession card only.
REGISTRAR TRAINING PROGRAM
Dr Grace Kang and Dr Thomas Mathew are our registrars at Littlehampton Medical. Grace and Thomas who are both nearing the end of their registrar training are skilled doctors with extensive hospital and GP experience.
